Deposits
A security deposit against damage, or the hall being left in an unacceptable state will be required for commercial bookings, social functions, all day bookings, and large events e.g. weddings, parties and fairs unless the committee specifically decides otherwise. The deposit payment is required to secure the booking. This will be refundable after inspection to ensure that the conditions of hiring have been observed. If the hall is left in an unacceptable condition (e.g. not cleaned) a £80 cleaning fee will be charged for professional cleaning of the hall.
Payment terms and methods
Deposit payments are required when you book. Full payment of hire fees is due four weeks before your event. If you think you qualify for a discount, please get in touch.
If payment is not received when due the hirer may forfeit the booking.
Bank transfer is our preferred method of payment (we can take cheques and cash).
Groups working with children or vulnerable adults
Groups working with children or vulnerable adults will need to have Child Protection and Vulnerable Adult policies in place.
